Animals
Van der Walt, Williams & Stephenson

is a free adaptation of George Orwell's classical allegorical expose of dictatorship. The musical follows the lives of the farm animals who live under the tyranny of Farmer Jones. After hearing an impassioned speech made by a pig of mature years, the Animals overthrow the corrupt farmer and celebrate their freedom by adopting the principals of Animalism. Napoleon and Squealer, two young and ambitions pigs, emerge as leaders and propose a new society where all Animals shall be equal!

However, it isn't long before Molly, the indulged farm horse, Benjamin, the cynical donkey, Moses, the gospel-touting raven, Boxer, the hard-working carthorse, the loyal sheep, motherly cows and perky hens are betrayed by the scheming, power-hungry pigs and the vicious dogs.
