  • to promote and introduce 4 Musicals for Young People to educators and learners
  • to train and develop educators on how to mount a high school musical production with their learners
  • to distribute economy packs of the musicals and self-help manuals to disadvantaged and marginalised groups
  • to inspire and motivate learner participation
  • to introduce the concept of performance and musical story telling to learners
  • to develop musical and theatre skills of learners
The Musicmakers Workshops will be hosted in one major centre and in one rural centre in all nine provinces in South Africa over a period of three years.
